Dear Hollywood: Stop Insulting American Voters!

By Kimberly Bloom Jackson

Many of you threatened to leave the country if Donald Trump won the Presidency. Well, he won. Good riddance. Don’t let the big door of freedom hit you on the way out!

Dear Hollywood

Oh, you changed your mind? Is it because you love America or you just love yourselves living in a country that helps you maintain your life-style of lavish hypocrisy? Either way, your recent anti-Trump tantrums are tantamount to a slap in the face of every hard working American voter who is struggling to support their family because of liberal policies of the last 8 years.

Luckily for the rest of us, we didn’t have to cut and run. Instead, when the going got tough, we got going. Trump won because his message resonated with millions of Americans, including the forgotten blue state Rust Belters who are now feeling pretty hopeful. They voted for Trump even when elites like you said it wouldn’t matter. But it did! And while you were ballyhooing about running away from home, some of our military heroes were making the ultimate sacrifice‐‐for all of us‐‐so you would still have the right to act like fools.

2016: Intolerables vs Deplorables

By Kimberly Bloom Jackson

The 2016 election was about the direction of America. The battle was a spectacular culture clash dominated by two groups. On one side were the Intolerables, made up largely by the Left’s complex of academia, news media, and entertainment bent on propagandizing intolerance and division. On the other side stood the “Deplorables,” as Hillary Clinton unaffectionately called them, millions of hard working Americans who supported Donald Trump.

Intolerables vs Deplorables

The Deplorables fought hard and won. And the Intolerables spontaneously combusted!

There are now so many embarrassing images of mindless emotionalism, dysfunction, and lack of self-control littering the American landscape, it’s become the new norm. Nevertheless, we must remember 2016 as the year that exposed the deranged Intolerables for who they really are. Let’s take a closer look:

1. Half-Witted Campus Radicals: Ever since institutions of higher learning have morphed into shameful grievance industries where identity politics, victimhood, and political correctness have flourished, so have we seen more division, anger, and hatred across America. Unfortunately, many students wear their victimhood as an uncommon badge of honor. They see themselves as innocent and everyone else is out to get them.

Now, with Trump having won the presidency, their hysterics have reached a whole new psychosomatic level.

Students across the nation have expressed feeling threatened and unsafe with a President-elect Trump. To help them cope, staff have organized everything from “cry-ins” and counseling to hot cocoa and puppy petting. Some students have even worn safety pins to signal that they’ve physically offered themselves as a “safe space” for others.

Could Anti-Trump Celebs Who Threaten to Leave America Help Trump Win?

By Kimberly Bloom Jackson

Like clockwork, celebrities are once again threatening to leave America. This time, it’s if Donald Trump wins the Presidency. I say, good riddance. Don’t let the big door of freedom and prosperity hit you in the butt on the way out.

Cher Tweeted, “If he were to be elected, I’m moving to Jupiter.”

Nevertheless, let’s amuse ourselves for a moment with a quick peek at some of their crazy proclamations:

1) Samuel L. Jackson: On Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jackson warned, “If that motherf—ker becomes president, I’m moving my black ass to South Africa.” Shamefully, this is the same racially militant man who also admitted that he “really wanted” the San Bernardino terrorists to be white.

2) George Lopez: “There’s enough racists in this country for him to get elected,” Lopez propagandized to TMZ. “If he wins, he won’t have to worry about immigration. We’ll all go back.” Luckily, we’ve all caught on to this overused Alinsky-style tactic of calling people “racists,” a tactic used by real racists to deflect attention and control desired outcomes. Perhaps Lopez should instead chastise all those individuals, like Samuel L. Jackson, who admitted to voting for President Obama because of the color of his skin.

3) Cher: Naturally, using complete capitalization, Cher Tweeted, “If he were to be elected, I’m moving to Jupiter.” Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised if after she gets there she stars in her own reality show—a remake of Schoolhouse Rock’sInterplanet Janet.”

America’s Black Patriots: The History You Never Learned in School

By Kimberly Bloom JacksonPinned Post

Have you ever heard of Wentworth Cheswell or the Reverend Jonas Clark? How about Peter Salem? If you haven’t, don’t feel bad. I didn’t know and I taught history.

America's Black Patriots: James Armistead, Wentworth Cheswell, and Lemuel Haynes

With all the chatter about February being Black History Month, I thought I would throw myself into the fray to offer a little sneak peek into the history we never learned in school.

Frankly, I have never been a fan of Black History Month. No, I’m not a racist. To me, history ought to be taught through a more integrative rather than separatist approach. The fact of the matter is black and white Americans have often worked side by side contributing to our rich history—a history that dates back to our nation’s founding.

Unfortunately, this history has often been distorted, even erased from our history books by progressives—the real racists.

Let’s take a closer look at some of these amazing black American patriots.

1) Wentworth Cheswell (1746-1817): Few people have ever heard of Wentworth Cheswell, yet in 1775 he rode alongside Paul Revere to alert everyone that the British were coming. As the story goes, the two men eventually split off—Cheswell rode north and Revere rode west. In addition to being a patriot, Cheswell was a respected schoolteacher, church leader, and historian. He also became America’s first black judge in 1768. That’s seven years before America won her independence!

Are White Oscar Nominees Worthy?

By Kimberly Bloom Jackson

Have you heard the news? All 20 Oscar nominees in the acting categories are white! There’s even a Twitter hashtag called #OscarsSoWhite. Now Spike Lee, Jada Pinkett Smith, Viola Davis, Michael Moore, and other race conscious glitterati have announced that they will not be attending Hollywood’s most prestigious ceremony on February 28.

#OscarsSoWhite

What message does this send to the nominees whose exceptional work is supposed to be celebrated by all? Is everyone else at the awards ceremony now expected to take their cue from race-baiting crybabies and forego congratulating this year’s winners?

To make matters worse, the president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences Cheryl Boone Isaacs, who is black, had the audacity to say that she was “heartbroken and frustrated” over the lack of diversity among this year’s nominees. For the second year in a row, too many whiteys were voted in by the Academy’s reported 6,261 voting membership, of which the majority is supposedly white, though it’s overall composition remains unclear. Because of this, the Academy members have already been called a bunch of racists. But is this really all there is to the story?

As is the case with all propaganda, especially in Hollywood, you have to read between the lines.

Are this year’s nominees worthy of Oscar nods? Of course they are, as long as you take into account the fact that each year somebody has to win regardless of how good or bad the choices are. But that’s not the question everyone should be asking. The right question is, “Why isn’t anyone crying foul over the lack of quality performances overall, which is the real point?” Nevertheless, race conscious elites can’t help but to just hold up diversity (aka color) as a moral virtue, even though their diversity is based on a superficial attribute that has nothing to do with the value of an individual’s talent.

Policing Culture at the University of Washington

By Kimberly Bloom Jackson

There’s a new wave of hard core political correctness sweeping college campuses. It’s called cultural appropriation. As explained by a University of Washington student, it’s when “you take something from a culture that isn’t yours and basically use it for your own purposes. A lot of times this involves a majority culture taking bits and pieces of a minority culture in a way that trivializes it, in away that misrepresents it and pulls it out of context, or in a way that stereotypes other people.”

Cultural Appropriation at UW

If this leaves you scratching your head, don’t worry. There’s a whole group of UW students who, having crowned themselves with a certain level of elitism, have put together a video instructing the rest of us Cro-Magnon types on how to avoid cultural appropriation. As one might expect, they make fools of themselves in the process.

Nevertheless, as you watch the video, you can almost imagine yourself in a museum walking from one “cultural exhibit” to another as you’re immediately hit with a sense of separatism and victimhood. Of course, it would have been more helpful had the students actually known something about culture before starting their little grievance project.

Still, as an anthropologist who escaped the grips of leftist academia before my own brain could turn to mush, I am somewhat sympathetic to those afflicted with critical thinking attrition, a common byproduct of today’s higher education. Perhaps these students deserve a refund.

It used to be that anyone could take a good Anthropology 101 class and get an honest lesson on cultural diffusion. This simply refers to the natural spreading of cultural traits, mainly through migration, trade, and war. Cultures adopt and tinker with traits that work for them and abandon those traits that don’t. It’s one of the key mechanisms of cultural change and advancement, and the primary reason isolated cultures tend to lag behind everyone else.

While it’s obvious the students never learned about cultural diffusion they do, however, seem to know plenty about cultural isolation. In case you haven’t noticed, college campuses are hotbeds of victim identities, where many students have aligned themselves with a special, separate culture of oppression. Victim cultures wear their victimhood as a badge of moral virtue. They see themselves as innocent and everyone else is out to get them.

Racist Totalitarians Rope Captain America Star Back to the Plantation

In the face of a racially charged social media backlash, Captain America actor Anthony Mackie has walked back his endorsement of Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump.

Captain America Actor Anthony Mackie

“Trump’s an easy sell,” Mackie told BET Monday. “When you look at Trump, he’s an easy sell because you can sell him as the guy who worked his way up from nothing. And I think if you’re a ‘pull yourself up by your bootstraps’ candidate, people would identify with that.”

When asked if his comments were an endorsement of Trump, the actor added: “I’m on the bandwagon. I’m drinking the Kool-Aid!”

The comments were made during a promotional interview with BET for Mackie’s new film Our Brand Is Crisis.

BET’s Moriba Cummings published the Mackie interview at 10:50am ET Monday, commenting, “Well, alright then,” presumably a swipe at the actor’s support of Trump.

By the time the interview had made its rounds online and on social media, Anthony Mackie was trending on Twitter, and was the worst person in the world in the eyes of a political Left.

“Anthony Mackie always looks like he’d love to get called a ni—er in a Quentin Tarantino movie,” wrote Ira Madison, staff editor for New York Magazine.
